One Task at a Time

I built myself a productivity app I’m really happy with. It’s called UnoAllaVolta (one at a time in Italian).

  • You can connect it to your Todoist and Google Calendar.
  • It pulls all of today’s tasks and events to a deck of cards.
  • Similarly to the ‘catch up’ feature on Slack mobile, for each card you can decide whether it’s ‘done’ or ‘later’.
  • If it’s a todoist task and you marked it as done, it will update todoist. If it’s an event, it’s just off the deck (and you can re-import the cards again, just in case).
  • You can also push a todoist task for tomorrow, or create a todoist task on the fly.

It gives me a ‘what am I working on right now’ perspective, it includes prepping/wrapping up meetings, and it’s very low-commitment as I can always move a task to later.

I didn’t want to pay google for the review yet, so if you’re interested in trying it out, I’ll have to add your email as a tester for the google calendar connection. Using it just for Todoist doesn’t require anything other than authenticating.

There might be a few more bugs I’ll need to work out, but I'm excited about how my morning starts with this app.

I can share the preview apk to anyone who’s interested (just shoot me an email or message me on LinkedIn/RLS), or you can check it out here: https://unoallavolta.shirahaddad.com/

Feedback is welcome!
